I want to thank everyone who sent feedback and feature requests for the post editor buttons plugin.
Because of you I have released 3 more version of mainly bug fixes to the plugin.
The feedback was send through comments on the blog and email messages to me, if you have something on your mind, do not hesitate.
Now you can download and use version 1.3 that works perfect.
By the way if you have an idea for a brand new plugin – contact me :)

It DOES work perfect :) *Thanks so much* for the upgrade! I rated five stars at WordPress.
The only enhancement that could make this better is ability to sort buttons by caption name.

I,d like to know if their is a way to add more then 1 button?

Of course you can, there is a link that says “new”. Just click it and a new row will be added. You can add as many as you wish.

Thank you so much for this plugin! I was really tired to type everyday before I’ve finally found your plugin :-).

Has established a plug-in, in options has registered tags which to me are necessary in the worker panels, however in panels these buttons tags have not appeared. In what there can be a reason of this?

@mike: Try to press ctrl+F5.
Which WP version are you using?
Are you using the HTML or Visual tab? This only works on the HTML tab.

Has tried ctrl+F5. The result is not present
I use version WordPress 2.7.
I use HTML

Hey Oren, great plugin — the only problem is that you can’t paste newlines and tabs into the “before” and “after” configuration boxes — you have to use “backslash-t” and “backslash-n”.
The other thing I’d like to see is removing existing buttons, but I’m sure there’s another plugin for that :-) — any recommendations?

Hi Oren,
Any way that you can create a version that lets you add buttons to the Visual Editor too?? That would make it so much easier for clients to use. Thanks!!!
Rebecca

Hey Rebecca,
I’m sure there are other plugins that can do just that.
I even remember encountering them but I just can’t manage to recall their names.
Good luck,
Oren.

Hi! I love your plugin, but I do have one complaint. It doesn’t seem to be Unicode compliant.
For instance, if I type a button-name or value in Greek and save it, it works fine, but if I reopen the settings, everything written in Greek has become gibberish and remains that way if I hit save again (i.e. doesn’t work anymore) so I have to retype all Greek characters before I save. Does anybody else have a similar problem with non-latin scripts?
